Lazlow Jones

Jeffrey Crawford "Lazlow" Jones, born on September 4, 1973, is a multifaceted American creative known for his extensive work as a writer, producer, director, voice actor, and radio personality. He gained significant recognition during his tenure as co-chair of the Rockstar Games Production Department, where he played a pivotal role in developing innovative audio and video content for some of the most iconic video game franchises.

Jones's career at Rockstar spanned numerous celebrated titles, including the Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne, Bully, and Midnight Club series. He also served as the voice-over director for Manhunt 2 and contributed writing to critically acclaimed games like The Warriors and L.A. Noire. Beyond gaming, Lazlow hosted popular radio shows, including Lazlow's Technofile, which aired in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and The Lazlow Show, which began on New York City's K-Rock in 2005. The show later transitioned to SiriusXM's Opie & Anthony Channel, where it ran until 2010, despite irregular scheduling due to his commitments at Rockstar.

Lazlow is also known for his knack for integrating real-life personalities into video games, arranging voice cameos from friends and notable figures, including comedians and industry insiders. In April 2020, he left Rockstar Games due to family obligations during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a year later, he joined Dan Houser at Absurd Ventures, continuing his legacy in the creative landscape.
