Nellie Bly Baker

Nellie Bly Baker (September 7, 1893 – October 12, 1984) was an American actress known for her contributions to the silent film era as well as the early days of sound cinema. While she is sometimes mistakenly associated with the famous journalist Nellie Bly (1864–1922), Baker carved her own niche in the film industry between 1921 and 1934, appearing in a total of 13 films.

Throughout her career, Baker primarily occupied supporting roles rather than leading parts, showcasing her talent in various character-driven performances. She collaborated with prominent studios such as Associated First National Pictures, First National Pictures, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, contributing to several notable productions of the time, most of which were silent films.
