John Anthony White, known as Jack White, was born on July 9, 1975, and is a prominent American musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. He is best recognized as the dynamic lead vocalist and guitarist for the influential rock duo, the White Stripes. Over his illustrious career, White has garnered an impressive 12 Grammy Awards and achieved significant commercial success, with three of his solo albums reaching the top of the Billboard charts.

White co-founded the White Stripes in 1997 with his then-wife Meg White, and their 2001 album, *White Blood Cells*, catapulted them to global recognition, particularly with the hit "Fell in Love with a Girl." In 2005, he expanded his musical ventures by forming the Raconteurs alongside Brendan Benson, and later, he established the Dead Weather in 2009 with Alison Mosshart from the Kills.

In 2008, White showcased his versatility by collaborating with Alicia Keys on "Another Way to Die," the theme for the James Bond film *Quantum of Solace*, marking them as the first duet to record a Bond song together. Beyond music, White has dabbled in acting, appearing in films like *Cold Mountain* (2003) and *Walk Hard* (2007). He also featured in Jim Jarmusch's *Coffee and Cigarettes*. In June 2017, he contributed as an executive producer and participant in the acclaimed documentary *The American Epic Sessions*.
