Jayasri Rachakonda
Jayasri Rachakonda is a distinguished Advocate and a talented actress in the Indian Telugu cinema. While she diligently practiced law at the Hon'ble High Court of Telangana, her passion for acting led her to accept several film roles, marking her entry into the film industry with Prashanth Varma's critically acclaimed movie, Awe. Since then, she has showcased her versatility across a myriad of films, advertisements, and short films. Her performances in the film Mallesham and the ZEE5 web series Chadarangam have earned her significant recognition and praise.
Hailing from FCI, Ramagundam in Telangana, Jayasri completed her education at Kendriya Vidyalaya School, where she was not just a top-performing student but also actively engaged in athletics, cultural events, and drama club activities.
Jayasri's personal life took a turn when she married shortly after high school and became a mother at the young age of 18. After a five-year hiatus, she returned to her studies, earning her degree from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University. She further pursued her passion for law, obtaining her LL.B., LL.M., and PGDIPR from Osmania University, and has been practicing law at the Telangana High Court ever since. In 2018, she embraced her acting career with a role in Awe, followed by her brother Raj Rachakonda's directorial venture Mallesham, showcasing her family's artistic lineage.
