Peter Dante
Peter Francis Dante, born on December 16, 1968, is a versatile American actor known for his vibrant roles in numerous Happy Madison productions, often alongside his long-time collaborator Adam Sandler. His filmography features memorable performances, including his titular role in "Little Nicky," where he simply played "Peter," and in "Grandma's Boy," he appeared as a quirky drug dealer named Dante. Dante also showcased his comedic talent as Tommy, a flamboyant character in "Big Daddy," and portrayed the quarterback Gee Grenouille in "The Waterboy." His other notable roles include Murph in "Mr. Deeds" and a security guard in "50 First Dates."
In addition to acting, Dante contributed as a writer, actor, and producer for "Grandma's Boy," further solidifying his presence in the film industry. He took on the role of a New York City firefighter in "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" and played Danny Guiterrez in "Strange Wilderness."
Beyond his film career, Dante is also passionate about music. He has collaborated with Adam Sandler and Buck Simmonds and is part of the music group Rad Omen, alongside Dirt Nasty, DJ Troublemaker, Steven Laing, and Benji Madden. A Hofstra University alumnus, where he excelled in lacrosse, Dante continues to entertain audiences with his unique blend of humor and creativity.
