Kaushik Banerjee

Kaushik Banerjee, born to renowned actor Haradhan Banerjee, embarked on his acting journey in 1980 with a leading role opposite Mahua Roychoudhury in the Bengali romantic film *Priyatama*, directed by Dinen Gupta. He gained significant recognition for his compelling portrayal of Devendra in Ajoy Kar's *Bishabriksha* (1984), a cinematic adaptation of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee's classic novel.
