Lindsey Normington
Lindsey Elaine Normington, born on July 24, 1996, is a multifaceted talent renowned for her work as an actress, director, writer, and performer. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Diamond, the formidable coworker in Sean Baker's critically acclaimed film, Anora, which won both the Palme d'Or and an Academy Award in 2024. Additionally, Normington made headlines for her significant role in establishing the first unionized strip club in the U.S., the Star Garden in Hollywood.
Hailing from Rockford, Michigan, Normington's passion for performance ignited at a young age when she attended a high school rendition of Little Shop of Horrors. This early inspiration led her to engage in numerous plays and musicals throughout her youth. She graduated from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in 2018, where she notably starred as Sally Bowles in a college production of Cabaret. During her senior year, she created a one-woman show titled Figurehead, which earned her the Best Emerging Actress award at the 2019 United Solo Festival in New York City.
