Keeley Hawes
Keeley Hawes, born on February 10, 1976, in London, is a distinguished English actress who honed her craft at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. She embarked on her professional journey with notable roles in several literary adaptations, such as Our Mutual Friend (1998), Wives and Daughters (1999), Tipping the Velvet (2002), and The Canterbury Tales (2003). Her breakout role came as Zoe Reynolds in the acclaimed BBC series Spooks, where she captivated audiences from 2002 to 2004. She further solidified her status in the industry with her portrayal of Alex Drake in the popular drama Ashes to Ashes (2008–2010), earning a Glamour Award for her performance.
Hawes continued to impress with leading roles in the 2010 revival of Upstairs, Downstairs, the limited series adaptation of The Casual Vacancy (2015), and the critically acclaimed drama The Missing (2016). From 2016 to 2019, she charmed viewers in the ITV comedy-drama The Durrells. Her compelling performance as DI Lindsey Denton in Jed Mercurio's Line of Duty garnered her a BAFTA TV Award nomination for Best Actress. Collaborating once again with Mercurio, she portrayed Home Secretary Julia Montague in the gripping 2018 thriller Bodyguard.
