Darin F. Earl II is a Jamaican-American artist who proudly represents the first generation of his family in the United States. He began his journey in the arts as a writer and singer, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Journalism from Rider University in 2016. He further honed his craft by studying physical theatre, commedia dell’arte, and devised theatre at St. Mary’s University of Twickenham in England. His artistic endeavors also led him to the International Student Theatre Festival in Dakovo, Croatia, where he delved into bio-mechanical and carpet theatre.

Darin’s diverse background includes experiences in clowning, stage combat (including unarmed techniques, staff, and kali), and basic gymnastics, all contributing to his rich repertoire as a performer. Currently, he is branching out into voice-over work, screen acting, and screenwriting, alongside producing for both stage and screen. His short film, The Dennis Boys (2022), in collaboration with director Reinhard, was featured at the NY Shorts International Film Festival and earned the Oscar Micheaux Award for outstanding screenwriting from the Greater Philadelphia Film Office in 2017. Additionally, his film The Devil's Playground (2022) was showcased at the Block Island and Jersey Shore Horror Film Festivals, where it won Best Short Thriller and Best Short Jersey Horror Film, respectively. Outside of his artistic pursuits, Darin serves as the Director of Programming for the queer service organization, Beta Gamma Chi Fraternity, Inc.
