Gal Gadot, born on April 30, 1985, is a celebrated Israeli actress renowned for her iconic role as Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe films from 2016 to 2023. Her portrayal of the beloved superhero earned her widespread acclaim, and in 2018, she was recognized as one of Time's 100 most influential people. Gadot's financial success in Hollywood was evident when Forbes ranked her as the tenth-highest-paid actress in 2019, and she climbed to third place in 2020. In 2025, she made history by becoming the first Israeli actor to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Raised in Rosh HaAyin, Gadot first gained prominence after winning the title of Miss Israel in 2004. She then served two years as a combat trainer in the Israel Defense Forces, which contributed to her growing public profile, especially after a feature in Maxim magazine.
