Gilliam Chynna Phillips, born on February 12, 1968, is a renowned American singer and actress, celebrated for her role as a member of the pop group Wilson Phillips. She hails from a musical lineage, being the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of The Mamas & the Papas, and the half-sister of actress Mackenzie Phillips and several other siblings, including Bijou Phillips, Jeffrey Phillips, Tamerlane Phillips, and Austin Hines.

Phillips initially embarked on her career in the entertainment industry through acting. She made a notable impact with roles in several iconic films, including the 1987 romantic drama Some Kind of Wonderful, the comedy Caddyshack II in 1988, and the beloved 1989 film Say Anything.
