Brighid Fleming
Brighid Fleming's journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of three, ignited by her experience watching "Seussical the Musical." After the show, when given the chance to meet the Cat in the Hat, she boldly expressed her desire to embody the character instead. This early passion for performance led her to participate in the local theater scene in Albuquerque, where she honed her craft before securing an international modeling opportunity with LaCoste.
Transitioning into film, Brighid took on small roles in projects filmed in New Mexico. In 2007, she ventured to Los Angeles, where she fortuitously met directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor on a flight home. This encounter landed her a supporting role as Delia in "Gamer," alongside Gerard Butler. Since then, Brighid has dedicated herself to independent films, student projects, theater, and occasional television appearances, as well as starring in national commercials and music videos.
Her performance in "Sugar Rush," a film from USC, earned her a Maverick Award, while her work in "After the Shearing," a UCLA graduate film, garnered festival nominations. She was recognized as Best Actress at the Women's Independent Film Festival for her role in "A.B.S." and received a Young Artist Award nomination for "Criminal Minds." Notable figures like Deborah Dozier Potter praised her talent, and the LA Times commended her commanding presence in "Woyzeck." In 2011, Brighid expanded her creative horizons by writing and directing "A.B.S," which has gained critical acclaim on the festival circuit. Currently, she aspires to launch her production company, Phish Tank Philms, with hopes of adapting "A.B.S" into a web series.
