Renowned for her exceptional ability to perform in various dialects, she made a significant mark in the world of radio entertainment over her three-decade career. Klein appeared in numerous radio comedies and soap operas, alongside her remarkable work in eight Broadway shows, four films, and thirteen television series before her passing at the age of 82 in 1983.

Her Broadway credits include notable productions such as *Brooklyn, U.S.A.* (1942), *Uncle Harry* (1942), *The Immoralist* (1954), and *Jane Eyre* (1958). Her filmography features titles like *The Naked City* (1948) and *The Enforcer* (1951). Her television career included appearances in shows such as *The Boris Karloff Mystery Playhouse* (1949), *Studio One in Hollywood* (1949), *The Ford Theatre Hour* (1950), and *The Philco-Goodyear Television Playhouse* (1950). However, Klein's career faced challenges following her inclusion in the 1950 report *Red Channels: The Report of Communist Influence in Radio and Television*, which led to a decline in her television opportunities, although she continued to perform on stage.
