Julie Stewart
Julie Anne Stewart (born 1967) is a versatile Canadian actress and director known for her work in stage, film, television, and voice. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Sgt. Ali McCormick on the CTV series Cold Squad. This performance earned her eight nominations for Gemini Awards, culminating in a win for Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role in 2002. Additionally, she was nominated for a Leo Award for Best Lead Performance By A Female in a Dramatic Series, which she won in 2003.
Stewart's theatre experience is extensive, with notable performances at various esteemed venues. Her stage credits include productions at the Shaw Festival, such as Trelawny of the "Wells," Man and Superman, and Ubu Rex.
