She hails from a family of actors, being the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. Johnson's acting journey began at a young age when she made her film debut at just ten years old in *Crazy in Alabama* (1999), a project directed by her then-stepfather, Antonio Banderas, featuring her mother.

After completing high school, Johnson pursued her passion for acting and landed a minor role in the critically acclaimed film *The Social Network* (2010).
