Alessio Arduini
Alessio Arduini hails from Desezano del Garda, Italy, where his passion for music ignited at the age of fifteen. Under the mentorship of Vincenzo Rose, he honed his vocal skills for several years. His career took a significant leap in 2010 when he was awarded a scholarship from the Lina Aimaro Bertasi Foundation, leading to his debut in the title role of Don Giovanni at the Como Teatro Soziale. He further showcased his talent as Conte d’Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro with the same company.
Arduini's impressive repertoire includes performances of Don Giovanni at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, and as Riccardo in I Puritani at the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona. He has portrayed Guglielmo at prominent venues such as Teatro Regio in Turin and Teatro La Fenice in Venice. His international engagements include Schaunard at the prestigious Salzburger Festspiele, as well as performances in Livorno, Lucca, Pisa, and Ravenna.
Notable highlights of his career also feature roles at renowned institutions like the Bayerische Staatsoper, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Since joining the Wiener Staatsoper as an ensemble member in 2012, Arduini has continued to captivate audiences with roles such as Masetto, Marcello, Belcore, Guglielmo, and Dandini, solidifying his status as a celebrated figure in the opera world.
