Kubert was also the creative force behind original characters such as Tor, Son of Sinbad, and the Viking Prince. Additionally, he collaborated with writer Robin Moore on the comic strip Tales of the Green Beret, which further showcased his storytelling and artistic talents.

Kubert's legacy extends beyond his own creations; he played a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of comic artists. His sons, Andy and Adam Kubert, both established successful careers in the industry, as did his granddaughter Emma. Furthermore, many of his former students, including Stephen R.
