Mei Okada
Mei Okada is the middle child in a family of three daughters, with her parents being avid fans of anime. They chose her name inspired by Mei Kusakabe, a character from the beloved film "My Neighbor Totoro."
Mei began her career as an idol in 2014, joining the military-themed unit "Tenkou Shoujo Kagekidan," which would later be rebranded as "Tenko Shojo*." After five years of dedication to the group, she announced her graduation on September 10, 2019, marking a significant transition in her professional journey.
In September 2016, Mei expanded her artistic pursuits by launching "Mei Nadeshiko" (夢詠撫子), a series dedicated to hosting readings of original essays, short stories, and scripts. This initiative showcased her passion for literature and storytelling, allowing her to connect with fans in a new and creative way.
