Rekha Sharma
Rekha Shanti Sharma is a Canadian actress renowned for her role as Tory Foster in the acclaimed series Battlestar Galactica.
Her family hails from Uttar Pradesh, India, and emigrated during the British colonial era. They eventually settled in Fiji before her parents made their way to Canada. Rekha has an older brother named Sunil, who is nine years her senior, and their father serves as a Hindu priest.
Sharma embarked on her acting journey in her twenties. With a strong foundation in theater, she has also made significant appearances in various television shows, including Da Vinci's City Hall, House M.D., The Lone Gunmen, Smallville, Supernatural, John Doe, Dark Angel, The Twilight Zone, Sanctuary, Hellcats, The Listener, and the 2009 reboot of V.
In addition to her television work, she has been featured in films such as The Core, Tasmanian Devils, and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem.
