Odell Cornelious Beckham Jr. (born November 5, 1992) is a prominent American football wide receiver currently playing for the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League (NFL). Hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Beckham showcased his talent at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he made a significant impact on the college football scene. He was selected by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, being the 12th overall pick.

Beckham's emergence in the NFL was nothing short of spectacular. In his rookie season, he shattered multiple records despite missing the first four games due to injury. He became the first rookie in NFL history to achieve over 75 receptions, 1,100 receiving yards, and ten touchdowns in a single season—an impressive feat complemented by an unforgettable one-handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys that many consider one of the greatest in football history. This dazzling performance earned him the 2014 Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

Continuing his ascent, Beckham set records as the fastest player to reach 200 receptions and 4,000 receiving yards in NFL history by 2016. That same year, he recorded his first 100-reception season and led the Giants to an 11-5 record, clinching a playoff spot. Over his first three seasons, he was named to the Pro Bowl each time and received second-team All-Pro honors twice, solidifying his status as one of the league's elite wide receivers.
