Thankam Mohan

Thankam Mohan, born in Mananthavady, Wayanad district, is the daughter of Kuttikrishnan Nair and Yashoda. She completed her early education at G H S Mananthavady and later pursued a Master's degree in Theatre Arts from the prestigious Thrissur School of Drama.

Mohan's journey in the performing arts began with theatre, where she honed her craft before making her cinematic debut in 2008 with the film *Chandranilekakoru Vazhi*, directed by Biju Varkey. Over the years, she has appeared in over ten films, including notable titles like *Kamukuri*, *Jan.A.Man*, and *Paltu Janvar*. In addition to her film work, Thankam has contributed to various short films and gained significant recognition for her role in the web series *Kochamerika*. Her performances in projects such as *Sebastian's Friday* and *Parakkum Pankajam* further established her as a talented actress in the industry.

In her personal life, Thankam is married to Mohan Krishnan, a playwright, director, and actor who has also participated in minor roles in films and short films. Together, they have two sons: Jishnu Mohan, who has pursued a career in acting, and Vishnu Mohan. Thankam Mohan continues to be a prominent figure in the realm of performing arts, showcasing her versatility and passion for storytelling.
