Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman is a prominent American entertainment executive and performer, currently associated with WWE, where he serves as the Special Counsel for Roman Reigns on the SmackDown brand. Heyman was the visionary owner and creative driving force behind Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) from its inception in 1993 until it ceased operations in 2001. Prior to his tenure at ECW, he gained recognition as a manager using the moniker Paul E. Dangerously in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and other wrestling promotions.

In addition to his wrestling career, Heyman is a co-owner of the Looking4Larry Agency, a marketing firm based in New York City. His expertise in marketing has been acknowledged by Advertising Age, which named him one of its Top 100 Global Marketers. Throughout his time in WWE, Heyman has had an impressive track record as a manager, overseeing six world champions—including notable names like Big Show, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, and current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Renowned for his exceptional mic skills and managerial prowess, Heyman has also participated in matches occasionally, including a noteworthy appearance at the 2002 Rebellion pay-per-view, where he competed in the WWE Championship main event.
