Zakk Wylde

Zakk Wylde, born Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt on January 14, 1967, in Bayonne, New Jersey, is a distinguished American musician, songwriter, and occasional actor, widely recognized for his electrifying guitar work. He gained prominence as the lead guitarist for rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, contributing to some of Osbourne's most iconic albums. In addition to his work with Osbourne, Wylde is the mastermind behind the heavy metal group Black Label Society, which he founded in 1998.

Before forming Black Label Society, he showcased his talents as the lead guitarist and vocalist for the band Pride & Glory, which released a self-titled album in 1994, earning a cult following before their split. Wylde also ventured into solo projects, notably with his 1996 release, Book of Shadows, which showcased his versatility as a musician.

Over the years, Zakk has been celebrated for his virtuosic guitar skills and unique sound, blending elements of metal and southern rock. His distinctive style has earned him a dedicated fan base and numerous accolades, including being named "Guitarist of the Year" by various music publications.
