Gringe
Guillaume Tranchant, born on February 20, 1980, is widely recognized in the French music scene by his stage name, Gringe. He is celebrated as a rapper, songwriter, and actor, particularly known for his partnership in the hip hop duo Casseurs Flowters alongside fellow artist Orelsan. The duo made waves in the industry with their debut album, *Orelsan et Gringe sont les Casseurs Flowters*, released on November 15, 2013, which garnered favorable reviews. They followed this success with the soundtrack for their 2015 film *Comment c'est loin*, which also featured their second studio album, released on December 9, 2015. This album achieved notable success, peaking at number 24 on the French Albums Chart and receiving platinum certification within a year.
Casseurs Flowters was formed in 2004, and their inaugural mixtape, *Fantasy: Episode 1*, showcased their unique style with 11 tracks. While working together, Gringe also developed his solo career, collaborating with various artists such as El Matador and Brasco, and contributing to Orelsan's album *Le chant des sirènes*, which reached number 66 on the French Singles Chart.
In 2017, Gringe hinted at his upcoming debut solo album, and on November 3, 2018, he released *Enfant lune*, marking a significant milestone in his individual artistry and solidifying his presence in the music industry.
