Marta Laan

Marta Laan, born on May 20, 1985, in Tallinn, Estonia, is a talented actress recognized for her work in film, television, and theatre. She embarked on her artistic journey in the late 2000s after completing her education at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she studied acting under the guidance of Hendrik Toompere Jr. and graduated in 2010 alongside notable peers such as Mikk Jürjens and Liis Haab.

Laan gained prominence in the film industry with a supporting role in the 2008 crime-drama *Mina olin siin*, directed by René Vilbre, which was based on Sass Henno's novel. Her television career took off with her portrayal of Johanna in a 2007 episode of the Eesti Televisioon crime series *Ohtlik lend*. She achieved further acclaim as Betti in the popular drama series *Kodu keset linna*, which she starred in from 2009 until its conclusion in 2012.
