Evanna Lynch

Evanna Patricia Lynch, born on August 16, 1991, is a prominent Irish actress and activist, widely recognized for her role as Luna Lovegood in the acclaimed Harry Potter film franchise.

Lynch hails from County Louth, Ireland, and made her cinematic debut in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" in 2007. Her performance garnered critical acclaim, leading her to reprise the role in subsequent films, culminating in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2" in 2011. She expanded her filmography with a part in the 2013 movie "G.B.F.," which received positive reviews at the Tribeca Film Festival. In the same year, Lynch made her stage debut in the UK tour of "Houdini," portraying Bess Houdini. She further showcased her talent in the indie film "My Name Is Emily," which premiered to acclaim at the 2015 Galway Film Fleadh. In 2017, she took part in a revival of "Disco Pigs" at London's Trafalgar Theatre. Lynch also made a mark on reality television in 2018, finishing third in season 27 of "Dancing with the Stars." The following year, she starred in the British stage adaptation of "The Omission of the Family Coleman" at the Theatre Royal, Bath.
