Arswendy Beningswara Nasution, born on November 22, 1957, is a prominent Indonesian actor, director, and acting instructor of Mandailing heritage. He pursued his education in Performing Arts at the Jakarta Institute of the Arts (IKJ) from 1978 until 1982.

Arswendy's career commenced in the realm of theater, where he became a member of Teater Mandiri, an influential company directed by Putu Wijaya. His film career launched with the 1985 production of Opera Jakarta. Beyond his acting talents, he is recognized for his role as an acting coach in several films, including Denias, Senandung Di Atas Awan, and Merah Putih.

Some of his most acclaimed performances include his portrayal of Ustad in Satan’s Slaves (2017), Rudy in Two Blue Stripes (2019), and Pak Domu in Missing Home (2022). His portrayal in the film Autobiography (2022) earned him the Best Actor award at the Marrakech International Film Festival, further solidifying his reputation in the industry.
