Peter Craze
Peter Craze was born in Redruth, Cornwall, to Gerald, a solicitor, and Jeanne (née Vollar). He was the third of seven children in the family. Following the death of his father during his childhood, Peter's family moved to Brixton in south London and subsequently to Surrey. It was during these formative years that he discovered his passion for acting, participating in stage productions with the Scout Association's Gang Show.
This early exposure to performance paved the way for his career in theatre, where Peter landed various roles in repertory theatre. One of his notable performances was as Pip in a production of Charles Dickens' "Great Expectations," where he had the opportunity to share the stage with celebrated actor Donald Sutherland.
