Cordelia Bugeja

Cordelia Bugeja is a prominent British actress celebrated for her captivating performances on television. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Melanie Hart in the long-running soap opera *Family Affairs*, as well as for her compelling role as Kate, a prostitute, in the drama *Respectable* on Channel 5. In 2006, Bugeja made a brief appearance as waitress Julie in the sitcom *Not Going Out*, which stemmed from a promise made by the producers after she filled in for a cast member at a read-through. Unfortunately, her commitments to *Respectable* limited her to a smaller role.

Beyond her television roles, Bugeja has featured in over twenty British TV commercials, including a notable award-winning campaign for Sure antiperspirant, recognized for its memorable tagline, "Thank god you dumped him first!" She also participated in a highly successful advertising campaign for Yakult yoghurt drink.

Bugeja has made guest appearances in the iconic police drama *The Bill*, first in 2005 as the girlfriend of a hostage-taker and again in 2007 as Nina Lloyd, an ex-partner of a CPS solicitor whose struggles led to a mental breakdown.
