Glenn Danzig

Glenn Danzig, born Glenn Allen Anzalone on June 23, 1955, hails from Lodi, New Jersey. He is a prominent figure in the music industry, recognized as a singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. Danzig is best known for founding influential bands such as the Misfits, Samhain, and Danzig, each of which has left a significant mark on the punk and heavy metal scenes.

Throughout his career, Danzig has been celebrated for his distinctive vocal style and his ability to blend various musical genres, ranging from punk rock to heavy metal. The Misfits, formed in 1977, gained a cult following with their horror-themed lyrics and iconic imagery. Following this, Samhain emerged in the early 1980s, exploring darker themes and heavier sounds. In 1988, Danzig launched his self-titled band, which produced hits like "Mother" and solidified his status as a rock icon.

In addition to his music career, Danzig is the owner of the Evilive record label, which has been instrumental in promoting underground music.
