Ece Dizdar

Ece Dizdar, born on November 23, 1981, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a renowned actress celebrated for her diverse roles in television and theater. Growing up, Ece's childhood was marked by her father's career as a submarine worker, which led the family to various cities across Turkey and even abroad, including Pakistan, Belgium, and the UK. She received her education primarily at DoDDS American schools, where she developed a passion for the performing arts. Ece honed her skills in musical theater and dance during her secondary education in Belgium, culminating in two years at a children's conservatory.

After earning her degree from Marmara University’s Faculty of Communication, she pursued acting studies at the ARTSED acting academy in London, funded by a scholarship. Ece's professional journey began with translating notable plays like "Shopping and F…ing" and "Festen" for Dot Theatre, while also lending her voice to commercials and promotional projects.

Her breakthrough came in 2002 with the TV series "En Son Babalar Duyar," followed by a role in "Esir Şehrin Gözyaşları" in 2003. After a brief hiatus post-2004's "Hayalet," Ece returned to television in 2011 with "Karakol." She gained further recognition in 2012 as Yeşim in "Şubat," and later portrayed Melda in "Güneşi Beklerken" and Şevval in "Beş Kardeş" in 2015. Ece Dizdar continues to captivate audiences with her versatile performances across various mediums.
