Susanne Severeid
Susanne Severeid grew up in Southern California, where she received her education. Her father worked as an accountant, while her mother was employed as a secretary. At the age of eighteen, a photographer stumbled upon some candid images of her taken by a friend, which led to an opportunity with a prominent modeling agency that signed her immediately. With her vibrant California appearance and engaging personality, Susanne quickly found success, becoming a leading model on the West Coast and a highly sought-after actress for television commercials. Her on-screen journey began with a significant role co-hosting two 90-minute specials, "California Jam 2," for ABC, alongside Jeff Conaway of "Taxi" fame, which featured a rock concert at the Ontario Motor Speedway.
As she thrived in the modeling industry, Susanne also made her mark in television series and films, alongside voice-overs and advertisements. In the 1990s, she relocated to Europe, where her career flourished even further. She appeared in various television productions, including a starring role in a popular nighttime soap opera, as well as in films and corporate projects. Additionally, she showcased her talents in a one-woman cabaret performance about Marlene Dietrich throughout Europe. Susanne is married to Tony van Renterghem, a former assistant cameraman and a prominent motion picture researcher in Hollywood.
