Diaana Babnicova
Diaana Babnicova, born in 2009, is a rising British actress who first garnered attention on the West End stage. Her television career has flourished with notable performances in the Sky Kids series *Little Darlings* (2022) and the CBBC adaptation of *The Famous Five* (2023). Babnicova has also made her mark in film, appearing in *Don't Breathe 2* (2021) and the upcoming *Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot* (2024).
Hailing from a multicultural background, Babnicova is the daughter of Ghanaian mother Sandra Frimpong and Slovak father Juraj Babnič, and she has an older brother named Denis. At just ten years old, she secured a scholarship to the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School, having previously honed her skills at the London Arts Academy.
Her professional journey began with a notable role as Shonelle in Andrew Lloyd Webber's *School of Rock* at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, where she showcased her talent. Additionally, she featured in George Ezra's music video "Pretty Shining People." Babnicova's film debut came with Netflix's *Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey*, where she played a younger version of Anika Noni Rose's character.
