Gloria Loring
Gloria Loring is a multifaceted singer, songwriter, and performer whose illustrious career has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. Known for her chart-topping hit "Friends and Lovers," Loring also co-composed iconic television theme songs, including those for "Diff'rent Strokes" (1978) and "The Facts of Life" (1979). She gained fame as a beloved character on the long-running soap opera "Days of Our Lives" (1965) and has been a prominent advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). A prolific author, she has penned seven books and has had the distinction of performing two nominated songs at the Academy Awards. Loring is also the proud mother of acclaimed singer Robin Thicke.
