Greg McHugh

Greg McHugh, born on January 5, 1980, in Morningside, Edinburgh, is a distinguished Scottish actor and writer known for his contributions to British comedy. He gained widespread recognition as the creator, writer, and lead star of the BBC1 series *Gary: Tank Commander*, which showcased his unique comedic style and storytelling ability.

McHugh's television career took off with his role as Howard in the critically acclaimed Channel 4 series *Fresh Meat*, where he displayed his flair for portraying quirky characters. His early education took place at St Peter's RC Primary School and St Thomas of Aquin's High School, after which he pursued business studies at the University of Stirling. He later honed his performance skills at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, initially intending to study sports science before shifting his focus to acting.
