Sidney Greenbush
Sidney Greenbush, born on May 25, 1970, in Los Angeles, is one half of the renowned identical twin duo Rachel Lindsay Rene Bush and Sidney Robyn Danae Bush. They gained fame as child actresses, most notably for their alternating portrayal of Carrie Ingalls on the beloved television series *Little House on the Prairie*, which premiered on September 11, 1974. The twins, children of actor Billy "Green" Bush and Carole Kay Bush, come from a family with a strong acting background, including their older brother Clay.
Before their iconic role on *Little House*, the twins appeared in the 1973 television film *Sunshine*, where they played the character Jill Hayden. They made a memorable appearance together in the 1978 episode "The Godsister," showcasing their individual talents. Their final appearance on the series was on May 10, 1982, after which their characters relocated to Burr Oak, Iowa, as part of the storyline. Despite their exit, the twins left a lasting impression on fans, particularly with the opening credits featuring one of them running through a meadow.
In addition to their television roles, Lindsay appeared in an episode of *Matt Houston* in 1983, while Sidney starred in the film *Hambone and Hillie* the same year. The twins also featured in commercials for brands like Doublemint gum and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Ultimately, they decided to step away from acting to focus on their education, graduating from Santa Monica High School in 1988.
