Miyoko Aso
Miyoko Asō (麻生 美代子, Asō Miyoko), born on April 7, 1926, and passing on August 25, 2018, was a celebrated Japanese actress and voice actress, renowned for her remarkable contributions to the entertainment industry. A standout in the world of anime, Asō is most famously recognized for her portrayal of Fune Isono, the character she voiced from the inception of the iconic series *Sazae-san* in 1969 until her retirement in 2015, making it one of the longest-running anime series in Japan.
In addition to her work in *Sazae-san*, Asō lent her voice to the beloved character Dr. Pinako Rockbell in both adaptations of *Fullmetal Alchemist*, showcasing her versatility and talent.
