She is perhaps best remembered for her role in the 1957 episode "Rage for Vengeance" of the classic TV series Maverick, where she played the love interest of James Garner's character, Bret Maverick. Throughout her career, McLeod showcased her talents in a variety of popular series, including The Millionaire, Meet McGraw, Richard Diamond, Private Detective, 77 Sunset Strip, Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer, and Bonanza, to name just a few.
