Quinn Brett
Quinn Brett is a remarkable adventurer and record-setting athlete known for her resilience and determination. Residing in Estes Park, Colorado for the past fifteen years, Quinn has achieved significant milestones in renowned locations such as Yosemite, Zion, and Rocky Mountain National Park. Alongside her endeavors as a competitive triathlete and yoga instructor, she has made a mark in the climbing community.
During the summer months, Quinn served as a climbing ranger in Rocky Mountain National Park, a prestigious role held by only a handful of individuals, and notably, she was the only woman in this position. To further her expertise, she also taught wilderness medicine courses through Remote Medical International in the winter.
In October 2017, Quinn faced a life-altering event when she fell more than 30 meters while climbing El Capitan in Yosemite. The accident resulted in a spinal cord injury, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. Despite this challenge, Quinn has continued to lead an active life, focusing on her passions. She founded Dovetail Mountain Adventures, offering workshops and retreats that combine yoga with rock climbing, helping others navigate their own journeys.
In 2021, as a paraplegic, Quinn undertook an inspiring 4,400-kilometer journey on a recumbent bike, traversing the United States from north to south to advocate for accessibility in outdoor sports for the disabled. Her extraordinary life story was later featured in the 2022 film "An Accidental Life."
