Megan Denise Fox, born on May 16, 1986, is an actress of European-American and Native American heritage. She embarked on her acting career with a role in the family movie Holiday in the Sun (2001), which paved the way for her to take on various supporting parts in films and television. Notably, she starred in the teen musical comedy Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004) and played a leading role in the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith, which aired from 2004 to 2006.

Her significant breakthrough came when she portrayed Mikaela Banes in the hit action film Transformers (2007), a role she reprised in the sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Fox also took on the lead role in the horror-comedy Jennifer's Body (2009) and played April O'Neil in the superhero action movies Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and its follow-up, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016). Additionally, she appeared as Reagan Lucas during the fifth and sixth seasons of the Fox sitcom New Girl (2016–2017).
