Yang Caiyu
Caiyu Yang is a talented actress and singer hailing from China, recognized for her contributions to both film and television. She embarked on her career in the entertainment industry by performing "the Legend of Nezha," the closing theme for the animated series "Young Hero Nezha" in 2003. Following her debut, she pursued her education in the United States, attending Northfield Mount Hermon School.
In 2011, Yang was accepted into five prestigious American universities, including the University of Southern California and Boston University. However, she opted to return to China to refine her craft at the Beijing Film Academy, where she studied Performance Studies.
Her international career took off in 2014 when she appeared in the Hollywood 3-D film "Legendary: Tomb of the Dragon," directed by Eric Styles. The following year, she starred in "Love in the 1980s," earning a nomination at the 18th Shanghai International Film Festival. In 2016, she collaborated with actor Zitao Huang in "Edge of Innocence."
2017 marked a significant milestone for Caiyu Yang as she featured in the acclaimed film "Youth (Fanghua)" directed by Xiaogang Feng, which garnered her the "Best Supporting Actress" award at the Symbian International Film Festival. Additionally, she became the third Chinese artist to be accepted into Columbia University's Master of Fine Arts program.
In 2018, she took center stage in two much-anticipated television series, "Seven Day's Alive" and "Sniper," solidifying her status as a rising star in the industry.
