Edgar Rodriguez, a talented actor hailing from Southern California, has made a name for himself in the film and entertainment industry with notable appearances in works such as *The Christ Slayer* (2019), *The Long Walk* (2019), *Voyages of the San Salvador - Cabrillo's Journey* (2017), and *Envenenado* (2013). From an early age, Edgar was drawn to the performing arts, showcasing his skills in school plays and ballet folklórico, ultimately earning the title of "Best Actor" during his high school years.
Edgar briefly attended San Diego State University, where he continued to hone his craft through music and performance. After exploring various odd jobs, he turned his attention to graphic design, receiving an Associate’s Degree from Platt College in San Diego. Soon after graduating, he secured a position as a graphic artist at a local newspaper while simultaneously pursuing his passion for acting. His breakthrough came when he worked as an extra on *Into the Wild* (2007), which reignited his enthusiasm for the craft.
His impressive career includes significant roles, such as pilot Bartolomé Ferrer in *Voyages of the San Salvador - Cabrillo's Journey*, and he gained recognition for his performance as "Bo" in *The Long Walk*, earning a Best Actor award at SDSU's Emerging Filmmakers Film Festival.
Beyond acting, Edgar is also a versatile bilingual voice actor, lending his talents to various projects, including audio tours for esteemed institutions like the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and Mission San Juan Capistrano.
