Tom Araya
Tomás “Tom” Enrique Araya Día is a prominent Chilean-American musician, celebrated for his role as the bassist and lead vocalist of the influential thrash metal band Slayer. Born on June 6, 1961, in Viña del Mar, Chile, Araya's family relocated to the United States when he was a young child. His deep-rooted passion for music led him to form Slayer in 1981 alongside guitarist Kerry King, drummer Dave Lombardo, and guitarist Jeff Hanneman.
