Kevin Layne
Kevin Layne, born in London, hails from a family rich in cultural heritage. His mother, Allyson Williams MBE, dedicated her career as a senior midwife, while his father, Vernon 'Fellows' Williams, made his mark as an entrepreneur and a key figure in the renowned Notting Hill Carnival. Raised in Wembley, northwest London, Layne frequently traveled to Trinidad and Tobago, nurturing a deep connection to his roots.
During his teenage years, Layne's passion for acting blossomed as he began taking on extra roles in various productions, including Channel 4's 'Get Up Stand Up' and a variety of television commercials. His talent was recognized when he earned the prestigious DaDAs (Dance and Drama Awards) scholarship from the Arts Educational School of Acting, a remarkable feat considering he had auditioned just once prior to this opportunity.
Upon completing his studies with a Master’s Degree in acting, Layne quickly made a name for himself in the theater scene, showcasing his skills in numerous productions across London’s West End.
