Joshua Okamoto is a talented actor of Japanese heritage, born on July 17, 1995, in Saitama, Japan, to a Japanese father and a Mexican mother, Elizabeth Brambila Barba, a well-known theater actress. After spending his early years in Japan, he relocated to Guadalajara, Mexico, at the age of three, where he embraced his dual cultural identity and was registered as Joshua Ernesto Okamoto Brambila. Inspired by his mother's theatrical background, he was drawn to the performing arts from a young age, often accompanying her to rehearsals.

Joshua honed his craft at CasAzul Argos, graduating from their Acting and Performing Arts program in 2018. His stage credits include notable performances in "41 Detonaciones contra la puerta de un Clóset" (2019), directed by Martín Acosta, and "Quiero Volverme Supernova" (2019), under Alonso Iñiguez's direction. He also showcased his versatility in "Décimo Primera Noche de Combate" (2019) and "Hombres" (2018), a collective project directed by Mariana Granados.

In television, he gained recognition for his role as "Manuel" in the fourth season of Netflix's acclaimed series "Narcos" and participated in Canal Once's "Yo soy Yo." He is set to star in the upcoming Netflix series "El Club."
