Pate Mustajärvi
Pauli Antero "Pate" Mustajärvi (July 12, 1956 – December 26, 2025) was a prominent figure in the Finnish rock music scene, celebrated for his powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence. As the lead singer and frontman of the iconic band Popeda, he remained the sole original member of the group until his passing in late 2025. In addition to his work with the band, Pate also ventured into the world of cinema, featuring in Aki Kaurismäki's 1984 film "Calamari Union." In this cult classic, he portrayed Frank, one of the fifteen central characters, showcasing his versatility beyond music.
