Ali Afshar
Ali Afshar was born and raised in the lush Sonoma Mountains of Petaluma, Northern California. From a young age, his enthusiasm for speed and performance shone through as he could be seen racing motorcycles and horses on his family's expansive 200-acre ranch by the time he was just five years old. The youngest of three siblings, he is the son of Eskandar Afshar, a prominent figure in international agriculture, and Leila Kasra Afshar, a celebrated Persian poet and lyricist who sadly passed away in 1989. Influenced by his parents and the adventurous lives of his older brothers, Pasha and John, Ali immersed himself in various competitive activities, including Break-Dancing and Bicycle Freestyle competitions throughout Northern California.
Upon achieving his driver's license at the age of 16, Ali made a mark by winning his first High School Challenge in drag racing at Sears Point International Raceway, proudly representing Casa Grande High School. During his high school years, he was a familiar face at Sears Point, participating in the Wednesday Night Drags with his beloved classic 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. When not racing, Ali dedicated himself to wrestling, where he excelled and established multiple records at his school. His hard work culminated in becoming a California State Finalist in 1991, showcasing his remarkable athleticism and commitment.
