Serena Chloe Gardner

Serena Chloe Gardner is an accomplished filmmaker and director, renowned for her impactful storytelling and dedication to showcasing marginalized voices in her work. Her short film, "Blackout," released in 2017 with the support of BFI and Film London, garnered critical acclaim, winning the title of 'Best Short Film' at both the Birmingham Film Festival and the Southampton International Film Festival, among other honors.

Prior to "Blackout," Serena made her directorial debut with the short film "Lady in the Park" in 2016. This project not only received accolades but also earned two prestigious awards alongside eight additional nominations, establishing her as a rising talent in the film industry.

Serena's artistic journey began with her training as an actress at the Court Theatre Training Company, which laid the foundation for her transition into filmmaking at Raindance.
