David Gere

David James Gere hails from the quaint town of Cromwell, Connecticut. He faced an unimaginable tragedy in his early years when his mother and sister were unexpectedly lost in a drowning incident. His father, James, a dedicated educator, later married Veronica Gere, who embraced the role of his stepmother and raised him. A high achiever academically, Gere graduated from Providence College in Rhode Island in 1997, earning a BA in Political Science with a Minor in Film Studies.

David's journey in the entertainment industry began with modeling, which led to opportunities both in front of and behind the camera for films and commercials. Although he starred in a notable European print campaign for GUESS Jeans in 1997, his true passion lay in acting and filmmaking. He quickly made a name for himself through a series of well-received short films, documentaries, and music videos on MTV2. A pivotal moment in his career came when he collaborated with Rhode Island directors Michael Corrente and Peter Farrelly, landing his first acting role in Outside Providence (1999).

In 2006, David's career took a significant turn when he starred in Rocky Balboa, directed by his childhood idol, Sylvester Stallone. The following year, he appeared as Frank Meltzer on the CW's popular series Gossip Girl. An accomplished stuntman, Gere performed in The Dark Knight (2008) as one of Bane's Mercenaries. His venture into professional wrestling began after working with Tommy Dreamer on the horror film Army Of The Damned (2013), where he adopted the persona of DG Haven, a character that has garnered a dedicated fanbase across major North American promotions.

Currently, David balances his acting career with production partnerships at Verdi Productions and Woodhaven Media. He founded his own production company, Shadow Vale Productions, in 2018.
