Peter Cramer

Peter Cramer is a prominent figure in the realm of multimedia art, recognized for his innovative works that blend experimental film, documentary storytelling, and a personal, diary-like narrative style. In 1981, Cramer, alongside his long-time partner and collaborator Jack Waters, founded Allied Productions Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts. Their influential work extended to the ABC No Rio alternative art collective, where they served as directors from 1983 to 1990, fostering a creative space for diverse artistic expression. In 1996, they established Le Petit Versailles, a community garden in New York City that serves as a vibrant hub for environmental and artistic initiatives.
